The Klosterhaus Restaurant

Located in the iconic grade 1 listed Quakers Friars building, Klosterhaus is composed of a glamorous restaurant, bar, event spaces and outdoor terraces.

Executive Head Chef, Bjoern Wassmuth and Head Chef Rhys Grayson have created a range of menus that showcase Mittel- European cuisine alongside German classics inspired by Bjoern’s German heritage.

From lunch, brunch and dinner, there will be something for everyone to enjoy in the heart of Cabot Circus.

Once lockdown is over the bar at Klosterhaus will be a destination venue in its own right: the ideal setting for a cocktail with friends, a date or pre & post dinner drinks.

An extensive cocktail menu of classics and creative serves are available including the Hemingway Special (Havana 3yrs rum, Luxardo maraschino liquor, fresh lime, fresh grapefruit, and the Kloster Fizz (Olmeca blanco, Cointreau, fresh lime, orange marmalade, home passion fruit syrup).

As diners enter the ground floor, the centrepiece of the room is an island bar that will remains open until 10.30pm

It is here in the bar area of the soon to be opened Klosterhaus restaurant that Weald Refrigeration manufacturing expertise has been called upon to design and manufacture 4 x Special PR1201Us in black PVF2.

With LEDs which connect directly into the Lutron system on the site, these superb s/steel glass fronted beer and wine display cabinets are guaranteed to display and store the varied selection of German and local premium craft beers from the Bristol Beer Factory.

And in true German style, an array of beers from the legendary 229 year old German brewery Rothaus located at an altitude of 1,000m deep in the Black Forest, can be enjoyed by the glass, mug or stein.
