From Mayfair to Miami: Weald Refrigeration’s Partnership with Amazónico

Stepping inside an Amazónico restaurant immediately transports you to another world. Its vibrant spirit, world-class hospitality and jungle-inspired interior combine to create an experience that feels more like an adventure than fine dining. The restaurant offers a blend of Latin American and tropical cuisines, celebrating Amazonian culture and the beauty of Earth’s rainforests.

Back in 2018, Weald Refrigeration were approached by D.ream International to manufacture a set of bespoke wine coolers for Amazónico London. Our refrigeration equipment has been in constant service since the restaurant’s opening, proof that our engineering truly stands the test of time.

This autumn, Amazónico is preparing to open the doors to an awe-inspiring new restaurant in Miami. We are honoured to have been chosen once again to supply their new venue with specially designed wine cabinets, the continuation of a partnership that now extends across the Atlantic Ocean. Miami’s Amazónico promises the same energy and glamour as its Mayfair counterpart, an atmosphere that was carefully considered in the design of our bespoke refrigeration equipment. Featuring intricate wooden details and golden tinted glass, our wine coolers quite literally glow. They ensure that every bottle, from crisp whites to bold reds, is stored at the perfect temperature in a system built to last.

We have recently shipped these wine coolers from our East Sussex factory to the Miami site, where they are soon to be installed seamlessly into the restaurant’s bar. The specifications of the wine cabinets were modified from our Special Prestige Range PR1201 ‘No Overhang’ model and the beautiful doors were supplied by the client’s joiner to be fitted directly onto the units.
