Cliveden House
Cliveden House is a Grade I Listed 5-star hotel nestled in the village of Tallow, South Buckinghamshire.
It forms part of the Cliveden Estate, whose extensive grounds are currently managed by National Trust. The first house was built in 1666 as a hunting lodge for the 2nd Duke of Buckingham, and has since been home to three Dukes, an Earl, a Prince of Wales, and the Astor family when William Waldorf Astor purchased Cliveden in 1893.
Virtually every British monarch since George I has been a guest at Cliveden House, as have other distinguished figures including Winston Churchill and Charlie Chaplin.
Cliveden combines excellent service, hospitality and food, in an elegant country house hotel which for over three hundred years has excelled at entertaining. We have many options within the House for any number or size of ceremony or reception, including our secluded retreat of Spring Cottage next to the River Thames.
This season has seen the updating of the main house which includes 13 bedrooms and suites including the Lady Astor suite, the impressive Great Hall, Library, and Blue Boudoir.
Weald Refrigeration are extremely proud to be called upon to manufacture a bespoke wine refrigerator for Cliveden House and its association with such a prestige’s country house project.
