The Queen’s Club
Established in 1886, The Queen’s Club was the first multipurpose sports complex ever to be built, anywhere in the world. The Club offers its Members the opportunity to play Lawn Tennis, Real Tennis, Rackets and Squash on some of the finest courts in the world.
Queens clubThe Club returned to Members ownership in May 2007 following a successful acquisition of a 120 year lease from the Lawn Tennis Association.
The Club has been investing in its future and over the past five years completed projects include a new gymnasium, resurfacing of four artificial grass courts, refurbished Ladies Dressing Room, reinstatement of the Rackets Galleries and viewing areas, a new Terrace Room and the junior lawn tennis club to name just a few.
The Queen’s Club has an iconic Clubhouse, recognised worldwide as the face of The Aegon Championships, which houses a choice of areas from members to relax, unwind and recount stories from the court!
The Members Café is the hub of day to day life. Open from 8am until last orders at 9.45pm Members are able to enjoy breakfast, light snacks and bistro style food served by Ana and her friendly and helpful staff.
The Television Room is adjacent to the Café and usually shows all the key tennis and sport events.
The Sports Bar is casual affairs where members are welcome straight off court for a post-match drink.
Next door is the Members Bar it’s a more far more formal and suitable for pre-dinner drinks and cocktail parties.
