Great News for Aberdeen food lovers and Weald Refrigeration.

Great news for Aberdeen food lovers who will soon be tucking into tasty Italian cuisine at Jamie Oliver’s new restaurant early in the New Year.

And it’s also great news for the team at Weald Refrigeration who are responsible for manufacturing the superb range of wine coolers and frosters for many of Jamie’s new restaurants.

Chris Burgess of Weald stated we have a long history of manufacturing wine coolers and are proud of our association with such a prestigious and ethical Restaurant Group as Jamie Oliver’s.

The news has not only been welcomed by fans of celebrity chef Jamie Oliver, whose chain of Italian restaurants have proved to be extremely popular since launching in 2008 but also by the recruitment opportunity for all aspiring new chefs in the Aberdeen area

This is an amazing opportunity for those appointed to learn all aspects of the kitchen and produce the highest quality dishes made with the freshest local ingredients. They will experience life as a chef in one of the busiest high volume kitchens in the country, working for the most respected chefs in the industry and also act as role models for Jamie’s Italian.

Jamie Oliver said: “I’m really looking forward to the opening of Jamie’s Italian in Aberdeen and I’d like to thank all the people there for their patience. We’re going as quickly as we can to get the building perfect, but it’s a lovely old place as everyone in Aberdeen knows, so we have to take a lot of care with it. I hope that when we do open everyone will see that it really has been worth the wait.”

Social media users on Facebook and Twitter have already started to express their excitement at the opening the Jamie’s new restaurant in Aberdeen  and hope it will emulate the success experienced by the other Scottish sites in Edinburgh and Glasgow.
