Dishoom To Re-open In Birmingham
These past months have brought strangeness and uncertainty for so many of us. Since we shut the doors of our restaurants in March, we haven’t felt like ourselves at all.
The very point of Dishoom is to welcome you through our doors and to serve you the most delicious food and drink we can summon up in the warmest possible way.
Now, a few months on, we’re extremely happy to be firing up the stoves, brewing large pots of chai and warming up our welcomes so we can open our doors to you all!
Dishoom, the Indian restaurant that pays loving homage to the Irani cafés and food of Bombay, is to reopen in Birmingham.
The menu will be unique to Birmingham, and will take guests from breakfast to lunch, dinner and late-night tipples. The restaurant will also feature a Permit Room bar, serving Dishoom’s award-winning cocktails, teetotal tipples, house chai and more.
It is within the stylish Permit room bar that Weald Refrigeration’s manufacturing expertise has been called upon to design and custom build s/steel wine coolers to the highest specification available in today’s modern market place.
Weald is extremely proud of its association with the Dishroom Restaurant group and wishes them every success on there re-opening.
Dishoom pays loving homage to the Irani cafés that were once part of the fabric of life in Bombay. These cafés broke down barriers by bringing people together over food and drink. Like these cafés,
Dishoom warmly welcomes all to try its lovingly curated menu of Bombay comfort food brings together the dishes of all Bombay – dishes from Irani, Parsi, Hindu and Muslim traditions all jostle for space on the table.
